DYER COUNTY, SR-3:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Biffle Road to South of State Route 105. State Route 3 speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over Lewis Creek Canal. A signal system will be utilized. Speed limit has been reduced to 30 MPH. On January 5, 2015, State Route 104 over Jones Creek at was reduced to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.

DYER COUNTY, SR-182:  State Route 182, bridge over Coon Creek is CLOSED. Detour route is posted.

BLOUNT COUNTY, US 129 / SR 115 between W. Broadway Avenue and US 321: Motorists should be alert for road construction on Mall Road near Foothills Mall in Maryville.  Motorists should be alert for a lane closure on the southbound side of US 129 to be in place until work is complete.  A temporary lane closure is possible daily between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the northbound direction.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, use caution and expect potential delays in this area.

BRADLEY COUNTY, I-75 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee Beam Bridge, including grading, drainage and paving at the Exit 20 interchange (U.S. 64 Bypass East, U.S. 74 East, SR-311, APD-40) (LM 4.86) in Cleveland:  Work continues on this project.  Traffic has been shifted to the new temporary alignment at the I-75 southbound exit ramp and onto the first phase of the new bridge over I-75.  The contractor will be erecting the last set of beams at Exit 20 on Thursday January 15, 2015 from 10PM to 6AM.  Only the southbound lanes of I-75 traffic will be detoured during this work.  Northbound traffic leaving I-75 at Exit 20 will not be allowed to make left turns during this work because the bridge over I-75 will be temporarily closed.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Additionally, the contractor will be working on clearing and drainage and doing

Olgiati Bridge over Tennessee River in Chattanooga to Undergo Survey This Sunday, January 11, 2015

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation survey crews will conduct an in depth survey of the Olgiati Bridge on U.S. 27 over the Tennessee River in Chattanooga on Sunday, January 11, 2015 beginning at 6:00 a.m. EST and ending by 6:00 p.m. EST.  During the survey, the bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction. 

Additionally, the 4th Street entrance ramp to U.S. 27 North will be closed to traffic as the survey is performed.  A detour will be posted. 

The crews will be gathering detailed information about the bridge in anticipation of a future widening project.  TDOT Operations personnel will assist with traffic control.
