REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Smith, Robertson, Sumner, Hickman, Marshall, Wilson, and Rutherford Counties for guardrail and attenuator repair.

REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday June 2 through Wednesday June 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstate and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

Crews will set beams on the new pedestrian bridge located just west of White Bridge Road on I-40. The work is part of the state's 2nd largest Recovery Act project.
NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Transportation crews will perform several rolling roadblocks on Interstate 40 in West Nashville this weekend for the installation of bridge beams on the pedestrian overpass just west of White Bridge Road. There will also be alternating lane closures restricting access to the on and off ramps at White Bridge Road for other construction activities. The closure periods are as follows:
  • Saturday June 4, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. - There will be rolling roadblocks on I-40 East and West at White Bridge Road for the placement of bridge beams.
  • Saturday June 4, 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. - The I-40 East flyover ramp to Briley Parkway North will be closed for the placement of a crane. Motorists should use the White Bridge Road exit ramp to access Briley Parkway North.
  • Saturday June 4, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. - There will be alternating lane closures on White Bridge Road at the I-40 West on and off ramps for the installation of a new traffic signal.

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 South near Mile Marker 119.9: On Tuesday night, June 7, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform cable rail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
(Recovery Act Project) ANDERSON COUNTY, SR 61 Bridge over Poplar Creek in Oliver Springs: Motorists should use caution through this bridge widening project. 
 
BLOUNT COUNTY, TN-73 Scenic (East Lamar Alexander Parkway) at Stables Drive in Townsend:East Lamar Alexander Parkway (TN 73-Scenic) at Stables Drive, near the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, in Townsend will be reduced to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal at various times for the bridge construction project on Stables Drive. Traffic on Stables Drive is also being controlled by a temporary traffic signal. Two travel lanes will be open on Scenic 73 during periods when the contractor is not present and during times when work activities are being performed on the opposite side of the Little River that do not require additional space alongside the roadway. The temporary traffic signals that are currently in place will be set to a cautionary flash during times that both lanes are available for travel. When the lane restriction is in place, the traffic signals will be activated to control the traffic movement one direction at a time. Motorists in this area should be alert for changing conditions, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR1 (US70) Bridge rehabilitation and repair at log mile 11.02, 13.08, and 14.43 will result in lane closures each day. Traffic will be controlled by a temporary traffic signal with an 11 foot lane restriction

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.)
  • Tuesday May 31 and Wednesday June 1, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to perform signal work at Dominican Dr and paint structural steel.
  • Tuesday May 31 and Wednesday June 1, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions in order to paint the structural steel.

BRADLEY COUNTY, SR-60 (Dalton Pike) road widening from near Gilliland Road to U.S. 64 (SR-311): The contractor will be clearing, relocating utilities, and building substructures and will use a flagging operation to navigate construction equipment through the project. Estimated project completion date is June 2012.
