BENTON COUNTY I-40:  Resurfacing beginning east of SR-191 (approximately mile marker 131) and extending to west of the Tennessee River on I-40 near Birdsong Road (approximately mile marker 134) at the Tennessee River Bridge.

Sunday May 19 through Thursday May 23, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary night time lane closures eastbound (MM 133.0 to MM 135.0), for milling and paving operations, one lane will remain open.  THP will assist with traffic control.

BENTON COUNTY SR-1 (US-70):  Bridge repair work over CSX Railroad will cause traffic to be reduced from two lanes to one (12’ lane) in each direction, with temporary traffic signal, for the duration of this project.

BENTON COUNTY SR-147:  Bridge repair work over Sugar Creek.  Roadway is OPEN to traffic with occasional temporary closures.

Closure Necessary to Allow TDOT Crews to Repair Slide Area

Chattanooga, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) maintenance crews will close SR 27 (Suck Creek Rd.) in Hamilton County on Sunday, May 19, 2013 between 6:00 a.m. EDT and 8:00 p.m. EDT to repair a slide area located approximately two miles west of the Signal Mountain Cement Company.

BRADLEY COUNTY, SR-60 (Dalton Pike) road widening from near Gilliland Road to U.S. 64 (SR-311):  The reconstruction project on SR-60 (Dalton Pike) is nearing completion.  The existing two-lane highway has been widened to a five-lane highway with sidewalk, curb and gutter on either side.  Final paving and pavement marking has been completed.  A new signal mast arm pole is on order for an adjustment to the existing signal pole at the intersection of the APD-40 Bypass and McGrady Drive.  Due to nationwide demand and fabrication issues at the supplier, the delivery date of this metal pole is not expected until late May/early June.  Once it is received, the signal subcontractor will need

ANDERSON COUNTY, US 25W/SR 61 Bridge over the Clinch River in Clinton: The US 25W Bridge over the Clinch River in Clinton is reduced to one lane in each direction around the clock as crews perform bridge repairs.  Motorists should be alert for traffic shifts, narrowed lanes, workers present and use extreme caution in this area.  Motorists in this area should expect potential delays during peak travel hours.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. –A bridge repair project will cause temporary lanes closures on I-240 eastbound and westbound at Lamar Avenue (Exit #21) in Shelby County on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  One lane will be open at all times in both directions.

CARROLL COUNTY SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over overflow and the Big Sandy River.  There will be possible temporary lane closures in both directions on State Route 424.  Flagmen will be used while the signal system is being installed to direct traffic until bridge replacement is complete.  One lane will remain open.
