BRADLEY COUNTY, I-75 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee Beam Bridge, including grading, drainage and paving at the Exit 20 interchange (U.S. 64 Bypass East, U.S. 74 East, SR-311, APD-40) (LM 4.86) in Cleveland:  Work continues on this project.  The I-75 northbound on ramp at Exit 20 will be closed early Saturday morning, March 28, 2015 for no longer than 10 minutes at two different times as the Cleveland Utilities sub-contractor hangs fiber across the ramp.  Traffic has been shifted to the new temporary alignment at the I-75 southbound exit ramp and onto the first phase of the new bridge over I-75.  The contractor will be working on clearing and drainage

BLOUNT COUNTY, US 129 / SR 115 between W. Broadway Avenue and US 321: Motorists should be alert for road construction on Mall Road near Foothills Mall in Maryville.  Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures in this area..  Motorists should be alert for workers present, use caution and expect potential delays in this area.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over Lewis Creek Canal. A signal system will be utilized. Speed limit has been reduced to 30 MPH. Beginning January 05, 2015, State Route 104 over Jones Creek at log mile 20.02, traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  State Route 104, bridge over the Obion River is CLOSED. Detour route will be posted.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday March 25 through Wednesday
April 1:
  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are open. The shoulders are closed on State Route 222.There will be possible lane closures for the duration of this project.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-193:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Shelby County line to State Route 194.

I-75 Fog Zone in Bradley and McMinn Counties to Undergo Testing and Maintenance this Sunday, March 22, 2015

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the Tennessee Highway Patrol and contract crews, will conduct fog zone scenario testing on I-75 North and South in Bradley and McMinn counties on Sunday, March 22, 2015 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. EDT.  The fog zone area encompasses I-75 from mile marker 27 in Bradley County to mile marker 44 in McMinn County.

During this time period, THP and TDOT may implement daytime closures of interstate on-ramps throughout the fog zone area to perform fog zone scenario testing activities on dynamic message signs, changeable speed limit signs, swing gates and fog detection systems.  Crews will work

BRADLEY COUNTY, I-75 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee Beam Bridge, including grading, drainage and paving at the Exit 20 interchange (U.S. 64 Bypass East, U.S. 74 East, SR-311, APD-40) (LM 4.86) in Cleveland:  Work continues on this project.  Traffic has been shifted to the new temporary alignment at the I-75 southbound exit ramp and onto the first phase of the new bridge over I-75.  The contractor will be working on clearing and drainage and doing bridge work during this report period.  Any work requiring interstate lane closures is limited to Sunday through Thursday nights between 7PM - 6AM.  Signs will be posted and flaggers will assist with traffic control if needed.  THP will assist with traffic control as necessary during interstate lane closures.  Estimated project completion date is November 2015.  [Simpson Construction Co., Inc./WC/CNM118]

ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North between Mile Markers 126 and 130: On Monday, March 23, 2015, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform pothole patching.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, reduce speed and use extreme caution through this area.
