Meigs County Drug Investigation Leads to TennCare Fraud Arrest

NASHVILLE – A McMinn County woman is charged with TennCare fraud in a multi-agency police investigation centering in Meigs County. 

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) today announced the arrest, which was the result of an undercover investigation involving multiple police agencies and netted the arrest of 25 others for drug charges not related to TennCare fraud.   

Tipton County Woman Charged with Identity Theft, TennCare Fraud

NASHVILLE – A Tipton County woman has been charged in Lauderdale County with using someone else’s TennCare benefits to get medical treatment.  

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) today announced the arrest of Carmen Yelvington, 22, of Covington. Ripley Police Chief Landis Garrison led the investigation along with Sgt. Mike Kilpatrick. Yelvington had a court appearance on her impersonation charges at which time she was placed under arrest by the Ripley Police Department.
