Wilson County Driver Service Center to Temporarily Close, Will Reopen in New Location

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security announced the Wilson County Driver Service Center located at 725 Elkins Drive in Lebanon, Tenn. will temporarily close on Friday, July 13 and Monday, July 16. The Wilson County Driver Service Center will reopen for normal business hours at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17 in its new location at 204 Maddox Simpson Parkway in Lebanon. 

Madison County Driver Service Center to Temporarily Close for Renovations

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security announced the Madison County Driver Service Center located at 100 Benchmark Circle in Jackson, Tenn. will temporarily close on Monday, July 16 and Tuesday, July 17 for facility renovations. The Madison County Driver Service Center will reopen during normal business hours at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18. 

Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Announces Results of "No Refusal" DUI Enforcement Campaign

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security announced the results from the state’s first-ever “No Refusal” DUI enforcement effort which took place in five counties over the July Fourth holiday period. The campaign was a coordinated effort by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Governor’s Highway Safety Office (GHSO), local district attorneys, and various local and state law enforcement agencies.

State Trooper Dies While on Duty

NASHVILLE --- A Tennessee State Trooper died Friday while on duty in the Cookeville District.  Trooper Ronnie Hale, 57, was stationed in White County when he suffered a heart attack. Trooper Hale died while being transported to the hospital by emergency medical personnel.

Centennial Blvd. Driver Service Center in Davidson County to Temporarily Close for Renovations

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security announced the Driver Service Center located at 6604 Centennial Blvd. in Nashville will temporarily close on Monday, July 9 and Tuesday, July 10 for facility renovations. The Centennial Blvd. Driver Service Center will reopen for normal business hours at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11.

NASHVILLE--- Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security officials formally recognized six recent promotions in a special ceremony Tuesday at the Tennessee Highway Patrol Training Center in Nashville. Commissioner Bill Gibbons, Deputy Commissioner Larry Godwin, Tennessee Highway Patrol Colonel Tracy Trott, and Assistant Commissioner David Purkey were on-hand to congratulate the recipients.
