Department of Safety & Homeland Security Issuing Replacement Driver Licenses as Result of Printing Error
Friday, March 15, 2013 | 03:55 pmNASHVILLE--- The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security announced Friday that it had mailed replacement driver licenses to some new teen drivers who recently received licenses that contained incorrect information due to a printing error. The department’s state identity card vendor, MorphoTrust USA, made the printing error on some cards manufactured in December 2012 and January 2013. The cards were only issued to new drivers under age 18 who visited the state driver service centers in Dickson, Gallatin, and Springfield. The error affects 1,053 drivers.
