Connected Vehicle Service Provider to Create More than 500 Jobs in Montgomery County

NASHVILLE – Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty, along with company officials, announced today Agero, a leading provider of connected vehicle services including roadside assistance and claims management, will open a call center in Montgomery County. This announcement brings with it a capital investment of $8 million and the creation of more than 500 jobs.

Second Trade Mission for TNTrade Program Will Focus on Automotive Industry

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development announced today that the department will lead a trade mission to Mexico City July 17–20, 2012 that will focus on Tennessee’s automotive manufacturers. Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty announced today that Kyowa America Corporation will open a new facility in Portland, Tenn., creating 160 jobs and investing $12 million. The company, a leader in automotive plastic injection molding, will locate at 1039 Fred White Blvd. in the Robertson County section of Portland and is expected to be operational by late summer.
