Company to Invest $2 Million, Create 200 New Jobs

NASHVILLE --- Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty, along with Goodman Manufacturing officials today announced the air conditioning and heating equipment manufacturer will expand its plant in Dayton, Tenn. The expansion represents an investment of $2 million and the creation of 200 new positions in Rhea County.

Plastics Extrusion Company to Invest $8.2 Million, Create 80 New Jobs

Business Centers to Add 245 New Positions in Tennessee

Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty along with Windham Professionals announced today the company will expand operations at its two Tennessee locations.  The expansions will add an additional 150 positions in Alcoa, Tenn. and 95 positions in Hendersonville, Tenn. and represents an investment of $500,000.

Auto Supplier to Create 200 Jobs, Invest $28 Million

NASHVILLE  —  Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty along with HP Pelzer Automotive Systems officials announced today the company will locate a new 185,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at the Mt. Verd Industrial Park in Athens, Tenn.  HP Pelzer, a leading worldwide supplier of automotive acoustic and interior trim parts, will create 200 jobs and invest $28 million at the McMinn County facility. 

Disaster Recovery and Restoration Company to Invest $6.7 Million, Create 90 Jobs

NASHVILLE  —  Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty along with SERVPRO officials announced plans to expand the company’s corporate headquarters on Industrial Blvd. in Gallatin, Tenn. The expansion represents a $6.7 million investment by SERVPRO and will create 90 new, full-time jobs in Sumner County.

Innovative Wireless Radio Controlled LED Street Lighting Systems to be Assembled in Hamilton County

NASHVILLE – Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam, Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty and Don Lepard, president and CEO of Global Green Lighting (GGL), announced the company’s plans to hire as many as 250 people at a newly established lighting assembly facility in Chattanooga. The move is creating jobs for Tennesseans by bringing subcontracted production back from China.
