More than 60 Safety and Health Seminars Available
NASHVILLEThe 33rd Annual Tennessee Safety & Health Congress will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Murfreesboro from Sunday, August 1st, through Wednesday, August 4th. The conference features safety and health experts leading more than 60 seminars and approximately 85 exhibitors.
“Each year we strive to make workplace safety and health a priority for all Tennessee employers and employees,” said Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development Commissioner James Neeley. “I believe the Safety & Health Congress plays a key role in providing the necessary information to help save lives and prevent injury and illness for Tennessee Workers."
The conference features safety and health experts leading more than 60 seminars and has something for persons at all levels of employment. Workshops are appropriate for safety and health managers, supervisors, plant managers, safety committee members, industrial hygienists, human resource managers, risk managers, health care providers and front-line employees.
Workshop topics include the 10-Hour OSHA General Industry Course, The New EPA – Greenhouse Gas Reporting Rule, ABCD’s of Fall Protection, Keys to Effective Training and Safety and Health Jeopardy.
This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Dale Henry; he has been a teacher, principal, dean of the oldest college in Tennessee, a businessman, author, speaker and trainer. Since he began speaking just a few short years ago, corporate, government, and educational agencies call on Dr. Henry regularly to have him speak to and motivate their professionals. His client list is a virtual who’s who of the top businesses and agencies in the nation.
